Charity

It is our organizational mission to give back. A portion of all conference proceeds are donated to nonprofit organizations or to provide SRNA scholarship opportunities.

Proud Supporter of the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
In response to the devastating floods of July 4, 2025, we are honored to contribute to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

This fund, managed by The Community Foundation—a 501(c)(3) public charity serving the Texas Hill Country—provides vital support to vetted organizations involved in rescue, relief, and long-term recovery efforts. Our donation will help aid the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort as they rebuild and recover.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating floods in Texas. To those offering help—rescue teams, neighbors, volunteers—thank you for your strength and compassion. Please know you are in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, we were grateful to be involved in the effort of local southwestern PA volunteers in provision of much needed supplies to Pilot Mountain, NC and surrounding areas.

Food Bank

During the initial surge of Covid 19 cases, we were involved with the Westmoreland County, PA food bank. A portion of our Spring 2020 conference was donated to assist with the immediate need in the area related to closure of businesses and livelihood concerns in our home town.

Yearly donations are also a SAS tradition.

Sarah’s House of Maine

Our fall 2019 destination conference to Bar Harbor, Maine led us to Sarah’s House. Providing affordable housing and transportation for patients undergoing cancer treatments in rural Maine.

This warm, inviting and nurturing environment is a blessing to many, and we were honored to tour the facility and to donate to such an amazing organization.

Hope Project

The Montana Hope Project began in 1984 when a handful of Montana Highway Patrol Officers reached out to a couple of kids with life-threatening illnesses. They dug into their own pockets, borrowed a van, and took the kids and their families on a trip to Glacier Park.

Sponsored by the Association of Montana Troopers, the Montana Hope Project originated from the strong desire of Troopers to offer a special and unique service to the communities they served.

Charitable contributions were placed at our Glacier Park conference 2021
